About Me

I am a recent graduate from Fordham University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and Sociology. I am currently attending Fordham's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where I am working toward my Master of Arts in English: Composition and Rhetoric. Alongside this, I am currently an Editorial Assistant Intern at the Fordham University Press and am a Division I Cross Country/Track and Field assistant coach. I have been published in several magazines and newspapers, including poems in The Ampersand and Grain of Salt Mag magazines, and as a contributing writer for The Ram newspaper's student athlete column. I have recently completed two large projects: My first peer-reviewed publication for Dumbarton Oaks' Plant Humanities Lab and my Graduate Thesis on Indigenous love poetry as a tool of decolonization and native survivance.

My personality as a writer is a demonstration of the artful mix of disassociation and self-awareness: a brooding exploration into the depths of the worldly and inner experiences I endure, and the questions I try to answer along the way.
